In YET ANOTHER display of H.A's brutal determination, grim focus, deadly intellect, and unerring tenacity, yet another domino has fallen in the game of domination. Progression lays bare before us, bosses fall in succession without quarter, T5 is very nearly out of challenges for us. There are but 3 named left to check off our list and Halcyon Affinity will be a T6 raiding guild... ah seems like only a month ago we started knocking on the door to T5..... oh yeah it was.

Fathomlord porved to be a worthy adversary as our dedicated crew of veteran raiders stepped forth with intent to pwn with malice and forethought...
OK, I'll level with ya kiddies, old Tronc Daddy doesn't really know what happened here. It's flu season, I'm tripping on Dimatap, they brought me in, set me in front of some guy and told me to do that tanking thing I do. I hit buttons, other people pulled off some complex and masterful strategy. (I'm guessing) T5 pants were had by all, and then I passed out at the keyboard... beds are for the weak.

Keep that machine rolling HA, we're just getting started, call this the preseason for now. Hyjal / BT is when we call GAME ON.

if you had asked me before if a guild could progress this fast i would have said it wasnt' possible. big props to everyone, that last pull made it look like we'd been downing this boss for months, or maybe that's weeks in HA time.

It was a great fight. I dc'd for like 30 seconds while I was supposed to be kicking the priest and right when I re-connected she started to heal and I got the kick off. So who ever picked me up during the DC, great job!

Seemed a little too easy though?

Anyways, my worst piece of gear just got upgraded to the best possible considering where we're at in progression...very cool!

Exactly Sludgey and that's what it's all about in the HA raid force. I see people going out of thier way to fill i nthe gaps, to pick up the slack, something goees wrong, a person can't be where they need to be, a random DC, and knockback. I often see the next person fall in to pick up the slack.

I see warriors that are tanking several mobs reach over and stun the one that's on a healer even though it's not assigned to them. A tank goes down, mobs get loose, I immediately see hunter traps, rogue stuns, sheep and fears fall upon them like rain.

Everyone in our raid force is slowly achieveing the level of raiding awareness in which they are at all times aware of the situation, and able to react with the skill and knowledge that only an intimate understanding of your character and thier abilities can afford you.

I'm proud, of this, BUT there is always room to grow. Never stop striving to add the extra effort and awareness. Most things done in emergency situations are done so only to buy precious seconds so the people who can get it under control do. Keep it rolling HA, no rest, no complacency, never good enough.
