Rise of Kunark

Hey guys I just reactivated my old EQ2 account to see Kunark. Is anyone else thinking of playing the expansion?

I ran around in beta and thought it was pretty cool. Though I got more out of looking at the screenshots and videos other beta players were posting.

I'm too busy to play EQ2 though. I think the lore, graphics, and blah-blah-blah is pretty cool. But then I think about the combat system and the 10000 abilities there are, and how most classes are setup for you to play given their recast (Rangers CAs went from like 10 seconds to 90 seconds, so after a while you're going to be hitting the same pattern of CAs everytime).

Anyways. Neat game, REALLY badass expasnion. But I won't be playing it (even if it's free for me).

Hey Torv and Murd. I will definately be down with aoc at release looking forward to hanging with you guys then. Looks like you guys are taking names in WoW. Status quo for HA.

EQ2 is pretty fun but not the same w/o a HA presence (.

Murd are you playing a chick in Wow? I am growing concerned all that time in the woods as a ranger is clouding your judgement.

I have undead Rogue named Murdon that is comming up fast!

I would strongly recommend you rolling up a character for wow.
The verdict is still out on AOC and i think a lot of us will be playing the new wow expansion when it hits.

I'll bite.

I'm playing EQ2 until AoC comes out, and while I can't really comment on Mainland Kunark (my main, Swashbuckler, is only 33 now) the starting area is fantastic and definitely has that "Kunark feel".
