The Reaver is one of the warrior starter souls available to the Defiants and focused on heavy armor. He starts out with a basic set of plate items, a one-hander and a shield, but it seems you are able to equip a two-hander or dual-wield as well right from the start.
As a Reaver you have access to long-lasting self-buffs called bindings, of which only one can be active at a time. The first binding that you get early on increases the damage you deal with each hit. As a warrior soul, the Reaver's main mechanic are attack points, which are basically combo points that build up on the Warrior himself, up to 3 total. At any point you can unleash these attack points with a finishing strike, which get its effect increased with the number of attack points.
The signature ability of the Reaver is to spread death and diseases in the form of damage-over-time abilities like Blood Fever and Soul Sickness, two actual ability names that you start out with. He later gets access to a few AOE skills, threat-increasing abilities, as well as very limited self-healing.

Is it just me or does it seem like a combination of those abilities makes it almost impossible for the Reaver to lose aggro?
Grim Lure - 8 sec cooldown - 3 sec taunt
Concussion - 6 sec cooldown - 3 sec AE taunt
Incite - which doesnt list a duration yet.
And by taunt I mean it says, "Forces enemies to attack the warrior".
Granted its pre-beta but that seems kinda good.

The Warrior creates a field of slowing energy. Enemies within the field move more slowly. Generates additional threat. The field lasts 15 seconds.

A corruption erupts from the Warrior's skin. Anyone struck in melee is inflicted with debilitating muscle spasms, reducing Strength by 10% for 15 seconds. Only 1 Binding can be active at a time. Lasts 1 hour.

Opponent is gored, creating a festering wound on their body. The wound putrifies for 8 seconds before rupturing, dealing 0 Physical damage for each Reaver DOT ability that the target is afflicted by. Generates additional threat.
