They told us Hydross was a road block.
They told us that our unstoppable momentum and blinding progression would break against Hydross, like waves against the rocks.
They told us that even if we did get the resist gear in less than a week, we would be severely tested; we would fail.
Too bad no one told Hydross that Halcyon Affinity had put him on the list. I'm not gonna hype this up. I'm not gonna embellish one little bit. The cold hard facts are this: Dantorg, guild leader of HA, came down and he said "Hydross this week, or bust... understand?" The officers went out and rallied the troops; TOGETHER this guild farmed in one afternoon thousands of gold worth of materials to give us the resistance we needed to take on the Unstable one.
To fail the guild in this endeavor would be to spit upon thier efforts and to break our relentless assualt into Tier 5. Clearly failure was not an option, and I am here to tell you that this sentiment was displayed in the actions of every single member of our raid force on this night. The pulls were long, brutal, and frustrating. Wipes came one after another and through it all, HA learned, grew, adapted, focused; the machine was in high gear.
Hydross has fallen before us, on the first night we chose to pull him. This marks the 2nd SSC pioneer kill for HA in as many nights, and the others will die quickly during the next raiding week. Grats again HA, and for those that doubted our resolve... you have nothing that we can't take... the machine is coming.
