Two more victims fell beneath the wheels of the unstoppable machine, that is Halcyon Affinity. In our first week venturing into a 25-man raid, HA has vanquished Gruul the Dragonkiller, after briefly stepping over the High King’s carcass on a single pull. I extend my personal congratulations and admiration to every member of that raid force. The strategy was flawless, the execution was surgical, and the outcome was inevitable. Another benchmark in HA’s raiding progression has been blown by with a passing glance.

The Machine is fueled by the blood of raid bosses.

It was a rush to see them fall for sure. Very satisfying.

I think it's funny that after every raid kill, Cracka has to go have a smoke like he just got a nut off! LOL

Seriously though, I was blown away by our kill last night. I really didn't come optimistic, I thought our classes in raid were wrong, and that we were going in to die. Now I sucked it up because that's how the machine works, we gotta feed it, even with our blood, but that was all I really expected.

Right about the time Avec asked if everyone was flasked, and I heard no responces, I remember thinking: "So what, NO one is flasked? Why doesn't anyone just speak up if they don't have one?" I started targeting people and looking at the buffs... this caster was flasked for death... this melee was flasked for damage.... the healer was flasked for regen. Every single person I targeted while we formed up was appropriately flasked and some people had even more things running, special food, sharpening stones, I saw it all. Granted, I myself was running all these things, but I just never expect other people to be that hardcore. The next thing I remember thinking is: "Damn, they really want this mother fucker dead, and they came to fight."

The final pull, was a VERY clean kill all things considered, complication arose and they were expertly met, the raid force was adaptable, flexible, cunning, capable, and deadly. I had completely lost track of Gruul's health and growths, focusing only on my own threat and survivability. When I looked up and he was miraculously at 15% and my health was full I knew he was finished.

I was proud fells, real fucking proud.
