I've been asked by a few people of some recent EQ lore. Well, it's pretty in-depth as the current story arc is covering 4 expansions (3 specifically, think of the third as a badass filler that is connected to the story-arc before Mayong about the Dragons of Norrath). It is Mayong Mistmoore's complex plot to become a god and control Norrath.
Anyways, here is some lore from the last expansion, The Buried Sea. Not the best video, but whatever :p Mayong's complex plot is awesome, I loves it.
