In celebration of the 10th Anniversary, EverQuest® will be launching a new server for you to enjoy! We want YOU, our players, to help us decide on what rule set this new server will follow.

Server Rule Set Descriptions

1. Progression Server

* These servers do not have all expansions active on them initially. Instead, each expansion is unlocked through the actions of the players.

2. PvP Server

* On this server, everyone has the ability to attack each other subject to a 4 level limit. For instance, a level 45 person may attack or be attacked by anyone from level 41 through 49. For more information, click here.

3. Standard Server

* Player vs Environment, a player character plays against the game world and non-player characters, as opposed to against other players.

4. Role Play Server

* Player vs Environment, a player character plays against the game world and non-player characters, as opposed to against other players. The main differences between this type of server and a standard server are that players are only allowed 2 character slots and some items that are NOT tradable on standard servers are tradable on this server.

5. 51/50 Server

* Players on this server will start at level 51 with 50 alternate advancement points. The rules of this server are the same as a Standard Server.

6. Any of the Above

Regardless of which option is chosen, character transfers will be limited or not permitted at all to/from the server when it opens. After the server has been open for some time, we may look into changing that rule.

Be sure to vote and help decide which new server will be opened for you to enjoy!

2 months late, must have a valid subscription to vote, and all of the choices are things you can do already. 3 Strikes you're out, SoE.

The valid subscription was a stupid move. If they want a sub of subscriptions you don't ask your current player base what they want. Those people are content, some of them have been playing the game for 10 years as of today (happy birthday EQ).

Let's see, the first progression server was in summer 2006. Send an e-mail to anyone who had an active account even for a month from January 2006 to now and you would have gotten a lot of people's attention and some good votes. When they make the poll, advertise that you'll get some free time to your subscription when the server launches.

Oh well...
