So... I happened to be muckin around on my guild forums for Warhammer (Eye of Horus), and the decision was made that we'd be heading to the Volkmar server. It was mentioned that HA might be one to watch on the Order side, and it got me thinkin.

I used to roll with Halcyon Affinity in EQ2 on the Antonia Bayle server.

I have no idea if you guys are the same lot, but figured i'd come back and say hello since it seems our guilds are going to be on opposite sides of the fence.

BTW... I was Saloma Teale, the Wizard. Philip and Rubia intro'd me to the guild a long time ago if you guys still remember names, and if this is the same HA :)

I came into HA at the beginning of Desert of Flames. I had to quit the game due to work after 3 or 4 months, but came back during Kingdom of Sky and joined up with Fire & Fury since I didnt see you guys around. I looked, but it seemed like you all had folded or something.

After that, I ended up giving the Wizard a break at 70 and ground up an Assassin named Salma Bluee that i'd been toying with for a long time.

Lol... sorry to give you the head scratcher, and i'm tryin to remember old names myself. I remember Symphonia and Alkterradorn, as well as the people who brought me in, Philip (ogre berserker, Rubia (human defiler), and Chulita (dark elf inquisitor). Um... there was a Euro player named Vynvette or something... a half elf Monk. Stryker was in with us when i was there as well, and Dantorg of course.

Actually... Tattiana brought me in with the recommendation from Philip, Rubia, and Chulita. Dang... this is going way back. Cant believe I remember these names lol.

Sal you ole cross-dresser you! How are ya??? I remember you very well! You came from Shadow Company! How cool that we will be on the same server :) Tattiana no longer plays and at last info from her she was moving and getting married. (Read "happy life".) Many people left EQ2 for Vanguard where we rocked content at release. Then many moved on into Candy Land where they became cows and strippers and such... HA is spread out all over the place now--a few stayed in EQ2, some stayed in Vanguard, some still in WoW, a few played AoC and now in War. I think War will draw a large HA crowd so you may see some faces you remember :)

Yeah... thats me. Cross dressin Sal lol. Shadow Company never knew I was actually a guy because I played the toon as a girl. What a disaster that was.

I'm glad someone remembered :laugh:. People were prolly thinkin, "Who is this weird mofo..." Haha. I was kinda sad I didnt see all of you guys when I actually went back to EQ2. I looked around for a long time before hearing through the grapevine of a guild breakup and problems and this that and another thing. I took it all with a grain of salt and ended up joining Fire & Fury for my duration until Echoes of Feydwer BETA came out which I was a part of. Played through the release of that, and about 2 weeks in I called it quits again. Didnt particularly enjoy the new content.

Moved on to COV for a while from there with a couple of my buddies, and played that till Vanguard came out. Ended up playin Vanguard for quite a while and had a Cleric up to 42 by the time I got fed up with that. Server I chose was pretty barren and was lucky to find anyone around no matter where I looked.

Got into WoW after that, getting a Huntard to 70 on Staghelm, then dumping him and making a Bear Druid, which ultimately I dumped AGAIN in favor of Boomkin. Had problems on Staghelm finding a good guild that was hitting the content I wanted, let alone could keep it together with any semblance of skill, so opted for server transfer to Dragonblight. Problem was... I was accepted into a guild of people who werent taking anything serious and because I server transferred I was kinda stuck...

So I quit heh.

THEN I played my filler game... COV for a while up until WAR Open Beta.

Kinda bummed that we'll be on opposite sides of the fence here =\. If i'd have known that HA was still alive and kickin I prolly would have tried to re-app to the guild. But... you guys are going Order? Kinda surprised in that actually. Figured you all to be Destro peoples.

Damn... and now i'm bummed that i'm rolling Destro :(.

-I played a Defiler/Templar/Fury to 20-25 each over the past couple weeks and that game, even on Antonia Bayle, seemed empty.

Every instance/group area I went to was completely barren. What you see is a decent amount of people talking in the OOC chats and doing strictly solo quests.

Fuck solo quests.

Ya I agree the game is good if you can do groups, but the fact no one does groups because soloing is faster sucks. The content at 80 is nice, but getting there is the same shit as wow..

I stumbled across a member of HA in WAR. I have been playing for a few months, and just changed servers. Mope (white lion) and Umm (warrior priests) are my toons here. Asked the guy in game but no one around from the old days. Anyway, I figured I would post and say Hi. Shoot me a tell in WAR if you log in, I play most nights.
