Me and my friend have been in a few hardcore guilds in the past. I myself ran the strongest pvp guild worldwide in eq2 for a great while called Havoc. Was also original member of Dissoluttion on Nektulos from day one. We were both in Carnage in AoC server firsting many mobs. That game has died i am afraid.

We like rvr but our main goal is pve. Niether one of us roleplay tho. I have read up abit on you and Alpha and we are kinda looking into a guild thats going to a highly competitive server. With alot of destruction top guilds. Is this your plan?

Register and fill out an app. (two separate applications, but explicitly say you are with your friend and vice versa)

And we aren't worried about classes right now, or # of members. Most likely 20 or so people won't make the grind and may not be "up to par" enough to be a full fledged raiding member.
