WORLD STUPID AWARDS: Xbox 360 owner emerges power supply in water
A 14-year-old from the town of Brevard, North Carolina, tried to cool his Xbox 360 power supply in the stupidest way possible - by immersing it in a bucket of cold water.
Clearly the boy wasn't that stupid, though, as he cleverly wrapped it up in a bit of plastic first, before trying to fix his resetting console by dunking the PSU.
His mum, who has to bear some of the blame for the whole mess, said "I saw him put the cord on top of a box in the living room. When I left to go next door he was playing a game but when I got back he was laying on his back on the floor and unconscious.”
He was knocked out by the resulting electro-blast and suffered burns to his right hand and foot. The burns marks will serve as a useful reminder.
