Millennium Films bringing Conan back to big screen
By M&C Aug 13, 2007, 7:36 GMT
Millennium Films has picked up the rights to make a new series of films based on Robert E. Howard's Conan the Barbarian.
According to Variety the company aims to start production in the spring of 2008.
Warner Bros. had held the rights for a number of years and yet had failed to come up with a viable production. Variety reports this is one of the reasons the property rights were not renewed with Warner.
Details regards the films are sketchy but any new films are likely to be closer to Howard's creation than the Schwarzenegger movies.
For Conan fans who cannot wait for the next movie there is the forthcoming game 'Age of Conan - Hyborian Adventures,' though that has been pushed back until next year. You can read more about the game in our database.
